Description
English: THE TOWN WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY A 1530 FIRE AND HAD TO BE REBUILT. ZACHARIAS OF HRADEC WAS COMMISSIONED TO LAY OUT THE NEW TOWN AND HE BUILT IT IN ITALIAN RENAISSANCE STYLE WITH A LARGE WING-SHAPED TOWN SQUARE, A GATE TOWER AT ONE END AND A CHURCH AND CHATEAU AT THE OPPOSITE
