English: Steam locomotive built by the Lima Locomotive Company in May 1887. Was acquired by the Teziutlán Copper Company (TCC) in May 1905. Operated between towns of Teziutlán and Libres, Puebla, Mexico.
Features: Model TCC-2, weighing 45 tons, wheel drive engaged for 29.5", vertical cylinders 10 "and 12", force transmission and crankshaft gears. Used wood as fuel until 1946, when it was adapted to burn oil. He gave up until 1966. The Compañía Minera Autlán SA de CV donated, in October 1980, this locomotive to Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México as a historical piece. This locomotive is exhibited in entrance of Buenavista station.Español: Locomotora de vapor construida por Lima Locomotive Company en mayo de 1887. Fue adquirida por la Teziutlan Cobre Company en mayo de 1905. Operó entre las poblaciones de Teziutlán y Libres, Puebla, México.
Características: Modelo TCC-2, peso 45 tons, ruedas motrices engranadas de 29.5", cilindros verticales de 10" y 12", transmisión de fuerza por cigüeñal y engranes. Utilizó leña como combustible hasta 1946, año en que fue adaptada para quemar petróleo. Fue retirada de circulación en 1966. La Compañía Minera Autlán, SA de CV donó, en octubre de 1980, esta locomotora a Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México como pieza histórica. Esta locomotora está expuesta en la entrada de la estación Buenavista del ferrocarril suburbano. |
