Description
Português: Iça ou tanajura é uma formiga.

A caça de tanajuras é uma atividade de lazer realizada inclusive por crianças. Elas saem dos ninhos apenas em um período curto do ano e são caçadas em quantidade, que pode ser congelada para consumo posterior. Dizem que o sabor é semelhante ao do camarão.

Algumas pessoas consomem in natura, mas a maioria faz a famosa Farofa de Iça, ou também pode acompanhar arroz, ser adicionadas em molhos para carnes, ou até mesmo adicionando na cachaça.
