Description
Français : Atelier mosan, vers 1145

Tête: argent repoussé, ciselé et doré. Base: âme de bois, émail champlevé, laiton coulé, ciselé et doré, cabochons et perles d'argent. Pieds en laiton coulé et doré. Provenance: abbaye Sant-Remacle de Stavelot. Ce reliquaire formé d'une majestueuse tête d'argent d'inspiration antique reposant sur une base en forme d'autel portatif fut consacré par l'abbé Wibald le 13 avril 1145.

La fixaton de la tête sur la base a été remaniée à plusieurs reprises.
