Description
English: The old coat of arms of Sysert, featuring the Lizard Queen from Pavel Bazhov's tale.
Русский: Герб Сысерти утвержден исполнительным комитетом городского Совета народных депутатов 2 марта 1982 года. На золотом щите зеленый столб, сопровождаемый с одной стороне тремя зелеными елками, а с другой зеленой коронованной ящерицей. В центре щита эмблема из лопастей турбины, колоса и полушестерни. Ниже эмблемы стоящая цапля. В верхней части герба написано название города. Лопасти турбины символизируют гидротурбинный завод, построенные в середине 20 века. Ящерица вероятно намекает на то, что в Сысерти расположен дом знаменитого уральского писателя П.П.Бажова. Ящерка - персонаж уральских заводских сказок.
