Fransmannen Jean-Claude Forest belönades för sin psykedeliskt flotta Barbarella och Jan Lööf i DN och Sydsvenskan för figuren Felix. Alla de aderton i akademin var inte med om valet. Men debatten om förtjänstfullaste konstnärer var livlig. Deltagarna var: Stående fr v Peter Lundberg, Sven Lagerström, Sture Hegerfors, Stellan Nehlmark, Janne Lundström.
