בשנת 2008 הופעל בסוסיא מכון חליבה לעיזים משוכלל וחדיש, הגדול ביותר בישראל, אשר נבנה על-ידי צח"מ אפיקים. לצדו פועל דיר של 500 עיזים. המחלבה משווקת חלב עיזים ומוצרי גבינה מחלב עיזים.
לפי אתר שאינו אוהד את המחלבה שותפים בה : Ariel Binyamin, Assaf Berzis, Ron Levran and US investors: Jerome, Leon and Simon Flick
