Summary
[edit]DescriptionSurya temple, Visavada Gujarat.jpg |
English: Visavada is about 25 kilometers northwest of Porbandar. It has many ruins and restored temples from the 6th to 14th century. Among these is the Mul Dwarka complex with several temples and which also includes the Jnana Vapi (Vav Visawada). To the northwest is a Surya temple with phamsana roof. Its floor plan is shown above. This is likely an 8th century temple.
This is a JPEG format plan and architectural drawing of a historic Indian temple or monument. The relative scale and relative dimensions in this architectural drawing are close to the actual but neither exact nor complete. The plan illustrates the design and layout, but some intricate details or parts of the temple may not be shown. In cases where exact measurements were not feasible, the drawing uses best approximations and rounds the best measurements feasible. Note: Please do not overwrite this file.
