| Description | The birds don't help. I didn't realise how much they trample the stuff growing near a feeder (not to mention scattering seed and crapping all over everything.) There's a big space in the middle of this shot where Sidalcea candida and Oenothera speciosa among other things have had to be cut back because they looked so bedraggled. The shade from the Amorpha doesn't help. Again I didn't know it would be quite so vigorous, and the flowers really are very small for the space it takes up. There's a Clerodendron hidden behind it so it'll have to go, or at least, be severely curtailed. The problem is I don't think it'll tolerate being moved. There's a Silphium lost in there too... |
