General view northward from the yard, with mostly ex-NER tank engines visible. The Docks were off to the right. At that time, the Depot (code 54A) had an allocation of 55 locomotives (4 sub-shedded at Durham), comprising 1 2-6-0 (BR), 20 0-6-0s, 6 4-6-2Ts, 12 0-6-0Ts (6 ex-WD) and 16 0-4-4Ts. |
