Summary
[edit]DescriptionSummit rocks of Houns-tout - geograph.org.uk - 900611.jpg |
English: Summit rocks of Houns-tout The rocks at the summit of Houns-tout are part of the Portland Sands series. The stone here is Black Dolomite. The rocks are unstable and are breaking away. Some of the rock from here (150 metres above sea level) has made its way down to the shore - the Egmont Rocks can be seen in the distance to the left of the crumbling pillar. |
