ჰაბიტატი: იზრდება ზაფხულში და შემოდგომაზე ფოთლოვან ტყეში, ძირითადად, მუხასთან, წიფელთან და რცხილასთან, ნიადაგში 3-25 სმ. სიღრმეზე; ზოგჯერ ამოდის მიწის ზედაპირზეც. ნაყოფსხეული: მიწისქვეშა, ბოლქვისებრი, მომრგვალო, 3-10 სმ. დიამეტრის, მოყავისფრო - მოშავო, მოლურჯო - მოშავო, დაფარულია 4-5 წახნაგიანი, პირამიდისებრი მეჭეჭებით. რბილობი: თავიდან - მოთეთრო-მოყვითალო-მონაცრისფრო, მოგვიანებით მოყვითალო-მოყავისფრო, მრგვალი თეთრი, ძარღვისებრი ჩანართით, რაც ქმნის მარმარილოსებრ ეფექტს, თავიდან ძალიან მკვრივია, შემდეგ - ფაშარი. ახასიათებს თხილის გემო და ნეშომპალას სუნი. გავრცელება: ევროპა, ჩრდ. ამერიკა, ჩრდ. აფრიკა.English: Summer truffle (edible truffle) - lat. Habitat: Grows in summer and autumn in deciduous forest, mainly near oak, beech and larch, 3-25 cm in the soil. on depth; Sometimes it rises to the surface of the ground. Fruiting body: underground, bulbous, round, 3-10 cm. in diameter, brownish-black, bluish-black, covered with 4-5 lobed, pyramidal warts. Pulp: at first - whitish-yellowish-grayish, later yellowish-brownish, round white, with vein-like inclusions, which creates a marble effect, at first very dense, then - pulverized. It has a nutty taste and a musty smell. Distribution: Europe, North America, North Africa. |
