English: Suevite from the Otting quarry in the Ries crater. Melt glasses (black) and fragments of sediments (bright) are embedded in the fine grained, gray matrix. The section shown here is about 8 cm wide.
Deutsch: Suevit aus dem Steinbruch Otting im Nördlinger Ries. Schmelzgläser (schwarz) und Fragmente von Sedimentgesteinen (hell) sind in einer feinkögnixen, grauen Matrix eingeschlossen. Der Bildausschnitt ist etwa 8 cm breit.
