Description
Deutsch: Untere Große Lauter, Schwäbische Alb. Ab Anhausen (Teilort von Hayingen) führt die Lauter für ca. 11 km nur noch autostraßenfrei, meistens gemächlich ruhig mäandernd, bis nach Lauterach.
Die 42 km der Großen Lauter sind von der Karstquelle bis zur Mündung in die Obere Donau als deutsches „Landschaftsschutzgebiet“, sowie als europäisches Schutzgebiet gemäß Natura 2000 ausgewiesen.

English: Lower “Große Lauter”, Swabian Alb. 11 km, beginning at the visible range are without a car road within the valley. The river meanders most of its way towards the village Lauterach and its Danube junction thereafter. German law protects the landscape of the river valley and its vicinity as a nature conversation area - from the karst spring to the Danube junction. European legislation “Natura 2000” does the same.
