Merknad: Fra Byantikvarens negativsamling.

Strykejernet i Ilevollen 3 Bygården fikk sitt navn etter den uvanlige trekantete formen som den hadde. Den ble bygd slik for å kunne utnytte tomten på hjørnet av Ilevollen og Osloveien maksimalt.

Den 28. juni 1984 vedtar Bystyret at gården skal eksproprieres (Sak 102/1984). Osloveien skal utvides og "Strykejernet" må vike.

Disse bildene, som er fotografert av Byantikvaren våren 1985, er noen av de siste bildene som ble tatt av bygården på sin opprinnelige tomt.
