När de svenska Öresundstågen stannade och all trafik med Öresundståg över Öresundsbron upphörde på måndagsmorgonen den 2 juni 2014 satte danska DSB Øresund in ersättningsbussar från flygplatsen i Kastrup (bilden) till Hyllie i Malmö. Det var svenska fackföreningen Seko som tog ut 250 lokförare och tågvärdar på de svenska Öresundstågen i strejk sedan förhandlingarna om nya arbetsvillkor med operatören Veolia Transport misslyckats efter medlingsförsök. Veolia Transport hävdar att ett lokalt kollektivavtal gör att det är omöjligt att schemalägga alla heltidsanställda fullt ut vilket innebär att deltidsarbetande får heltidslön. Därför har Veolia varslat personalen om uppsägning med möjlighet till återanställning där många heltidsanställda erbjuds deltidsjobb och ett stort antal fast anställda erbjuds osäkra timanställningar. Seko hävdar att Veolia har möjlighet att schemalägga upp till 98 procent av arbetstiden och kräver att det skrivs in en begränsning av antalet deltids- och timanställda i avtalet.
