[edit]DescriptionStreet Railroad Track Being Set on Beacon Ave (5148408463).jpg |
English: Street Railroad Track Being Set on Beacon Avenue, Seattle, Washington, U.S., July 25, 1934.
Beacon Theatre at right. http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/11479 says the Beacon Theatre was at 2352 Beacon Avenue, and Polk's Seattle City Directory for 1939 says it was at 2354 Beacon Avenue. That's a somewhat surprising street number, not what that location would have had today. This photo looks north-northwest in the 2500 block. The building on the left (still extant as of 2019) pins it down.
