| Description |
English: Stream channel, West Nab Moss, Meltham. There are a series of these stream channels, eroded through the peat, that are not shown on the OS maps, presumably because they do not always have a flow of water in them. They can be seen clearly on the Google satellite view, which also shows the recently erected fence. The grid reference was determined by measuring distances on the computer screen, and converting them to distances on the ground, from the known point provided by the West Nab triangulation pillar. This is a short distance to the east of the channel in 1356175, and the two meet in the middle distance. |
