Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Stream and Grassland Fen Drayton is a good place to see damselflies and dragonflies - damselflies occur in their thousands, probably tens of thousands and a couple of interesting dragonfly species can be seen - Scarce Chaser and Hairy Dragonfly. This area of grassland alongside the small stream is a good area to search for them. The stream is flowing away toward the river, showing the level of the water table in the area - the surrounding lakes are formed as groundwater fills them in.
