Description

Strängnäs Cathedral by Lake Mälaren, to its main parts built between 1270 and 1330. The top roof of the tower is from the 1740s. The cathedral is built of brick in Gothic style. To the right of the cathedral is the gable of the residence "Roggeborgen", built for Bishop Rogge in the late 15th century. The landing stage for steamers below.

Strängnäs domkyrka vid Mälaren, till sina största delar byggd mellan 1270 och 1330. Tornhuven är från 1740-talet. Domkyrkan är byggd av tegel i gotisk stil. Till höger om domkyrkan syns gaveln på Roggeborgen, byggt som residens för biskop Rogge i slutet av 1400-talet. Nedanför är ångbåtsbryggan.
