STORIES FOR LITTLE CHILDREN way beyond the farm where the Twins lived.He did not often have a holiday, because hecarried milk to the doors of the people in thetown, every morning early. Sometime I willtell you how he did it; but I must not tell younow, because if I do, I cant tell you abouttheir going fishing. This morning, Grandfather carried his rodand the lunch-basket. Kit and Kat carried thebasket of worms between them, and their rodsover their shoulders, and they were all threevery happy. They walked along ever so far, beside thecanal.
