Summary
[edit]DescriptionStorage sidings - Connolly station (2) - geograph.org.uk - 3245364.jpg |
English: Storage sidings - Connolly station (2) CIÉ diesel locomotive No. B150 sits in one of the now vanished carriage storage siding under Connolly’s overall roof. Points to note include the “Howth Bay” (Platform 4) on the right and the long demolished wood-framed footbridge which gave access from the GNR(I) platforms to the City of Dublin Junction station. A product of General Motors USA, B150 entered service in December 1962. Later renumbered simply 150, she was withdrawn in September 2004 and scrapped in February 2005. |
