Summary
[edit]DescriptionStonechat (Saxicola rubicola) (9078891618).jpg |
The European Stonechat (Saxicola rubicola) is a small passerine bird that was considered a member of the thrush family until genetic evidence placed it and its relatives in the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae. This one was seen a the side of the road where I walked getting quite angry with me as I suspect I was near his nest. The stone click sound is so distinctive and clear, the bird was not afraid to tell me off. youtu.be/ubQkxc2LQJE |
