| Description |
English: Stile, Boldron circular walk. A circular walk is described in a leaflet produced by the Boldron Parish History Group, passing such landmarks as the 1640112 and 1643880. Inevitably, the walk takes in a number of stiles, some interesting 1671202 and some less than useful 1665145. The one shown here is one of the better ones, and it can be approached dryshod in most weather, is not threatening to fall apart and is easy to get your dog through without letting go of the lead (if needed). The footpath itself is only really discernible by connecting one stile with the next as none of the paths are walked often enough to leave a permanent trace. In the direction of travel here, the path leads back towards the very large field created by a decline of old field boundaries, in which a 1689868 can be seen in the distance. |
