Description

Stemonitis sp.

Location: Wayne National Forest, Athens Co., Ohio, USA

Notes: The globules of this slime mold are tiny, about 1-2 ml wide. Note they start off white and transition to a chartreuse/ peridot-green.
Specimen was found on a well rotten log in recently flooded, shaded, dry gully.
