Anno: 1978

Stele a San Vito del 1978, con statua raffigurante il santo opera dello scultore Domenico Tudisco (Catania 1919 - Catania 2013) autore a Giarre anche della statua di San Francesco d'Assisi installata nella fontana nella omonima piazza nel quartiere Carmine e del portone in bronzo della chiesa di S. Camillo nel quartiere Peri.

La stele, che ha subito un restauro nel 2017, rappresenta S. Vito che con il suo braccio ferma la lava che minaccia il borgo di Macchia.
