[edit]DescriptionSteam on the Animas - September 2013.jpg |
English: The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad in Colorado runs between Durango & Silverton and alongside the Animas River.
My photo was taken in the early Fall (Autumn) as the trees were changing colors (colours!) and the steam loco can be seen pulling the train. The full-day round trip in a vintage train is fun and the scenery wonderful as it passes through the Rocky Mountains and beside the fast-flowing green river. |
