Summary
[edit]DescriptionSteam engine, Armley Mills - geograph.org.uk - 663864.jpg |
English: Steam engine, Armley Mills This very nice tandem compound led a peripatetic existence before ending up in this empty engine house at Armley Mills. It was installed to a high standard over several years of Saturday working by Brian Kershaw and Duncan Lodge who were volunteers. Brian later became the museum's technical curator. It is steamed on a few days each year and the engine house is usually only open on those days, although there is a view through the windows. |
