Summary
[edit]DescriptionSteam Engine on the Cambrian Coast Railway - geograph.org.uk - 551888.jpg |
English: Steam Engine on the Cambrian Coast Railway An unashamed telephoto of an unknown engine as it steams towards Penrhyndeudraeth, taken from an unknown location on the Cob Road embankment (while stuck in traffic!)
Additional information from Ag https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/22952: It seems to have been taken from SH581380. The giveaway is Portreuddyn Castle which you can just see above the last carriage on the left. The crag on Prenteg in line with it fixes the camera position along that line and since it was taken from the Cob Road, it must have been around the grid ref quoted. Cambrian Coast Railway ran the Standard Class 4 2-6-0 locomotive No. 76079 in 2007 and 2008 to pull "The Cambrian". |
