हिन्दी: यह तस्वीर मिहिर भोज की है, एक महान राजा थे। सम्राट मिहिर भोज रघुवंशी सम्राट थे और गुर्जर प्रतिहार वंश एक राजपुत वंश है और गुर्जर प्रतिहार वंश के सबसे प्रतापी सम्राट थे। उन्होंने 53 वर्षों तक अखंड भारत पर शासन किया। उनके समकालीन शासकों राष्ट्रकूट और पालो ने अपने अभिलेखों में उनको गुर्जर कहकर ही संबोधित किया है।
851 ईसवीं में भारत भ्रमण पर आए अरब यात्री सुलेमान ने उनको गुर्जर राजा और उनके देश को गुर्जर देश कहा है। सम्राट मिहिर भोज के पौत्र सम्राट महिपाल को कन्नड़ कवि पंप ने गुर्जर राजा लिखा है। लेकिन प्रतिहारों को कदवाहा, राजोर, देवली, राधनपुर, करहाड़, सज्जन, नीलगुंड, बड़ौदा के शिलालेखों में राजपूत जाति का लिखा है। |
