Description
Français : Sculpture réalisée au début du XIVe siècle. Pierre polychrome. Historique : château de Mainneville. Classé Monument Historique en 1908. Mainneville (Eure), église Saint-Pierre.

Cette effigie royale provient du château de Mainneville (Eure), propriété au début du XIVe siècle du principal ministre de Philippe IV le Bel, Enguerran de Marigny. On peut y reconnaître malgré la disparition des attributs qu'il tenait en main, une représentation de Saint Louis, sans qu'il s'agisse toutefois d'un portrait réaliste.
