On February 15, 2019 Mr Abdul Aziz Raja Adnan, Acting Deputy Director General of IAEA Department of Nuclear Safety and Security, and University of National and World Economy (UNWE) Rector Statty Stattev, Republic of Bulgaria, signed the second Practical Arrangement on Cooperation in the Area of Scientific Research and Educational Activities in the Area of Nuclear Security. The agreement builds upon a successful 5-year cooperation between UNWE and the IAEA on enhancing nuclear security education capabilities in Bulgaria and other countries, upon request.
