English: Station Street in the English city of Nottingham. The new tram routes to Clifton and Chilwell were due to open shortly after this photograph was taken in 2015. One of the latest trams, being used during trials, stands on the bridge over Station Street immediately south of the then terminus. The new station stop is on the Karlsruhe Friendship Bridge, which spans the railway. In the street below, taxis can be seen queuing for the station taxi rank; since this photograph was taken the rank has been moved and this stretchy of Station Street pedestrianised. A view in the opposite direction and after pedestrianisation, can be seen in this image. |
