English: 4,448 GRT liner Coptic, built by Harland and Wolff in 1881 for White Star Line and later managed by Shaw, Savill & Co. In 1906 the Pacific Mail Steamship Co bought her and renamed her Persia. In 1915 the Oriental Steam Ship Co bought her and renamed her Persia Maru. She was scrapped in Osaka in 1926. |
