English: Motor coach from Gympie, ca. 1930
Male and female passengers, dressed in their Sunday best clothes, posing in front of an open-sided coach. One of the men is wearing a woollen overcoat and all are wearing hats. Gympie is a city in south-eastern Queensland, situated on the Mary River about 162 kilometres north of Brisbane. Gympie is the centre of an important dairying and agricultural district. In the early days timber was a significant industry. |
