| Description |
English: Up GW freight on the ex-Midland line approaching Standish Junction. View northward, towards Gloucester etc. The train is approaching Standish Junction, where the ex-GW lines to Swindon turned SE off the four-track route from Gloucester, Cheltenham and the North, the ex-Midland lines from Birmingham etc. on the left, shared with the GWR between Tuffley Junction and Yate South Junction, continuing SW to Bristol. The Class F freight is headed by an early Churchward '2800' 2-8-0, No. 2841 (built 10/12). |
