Airmail stamp of the United Arab Emirates – Emirate Ras-al-Khaima; 1971; commemorative stamp of the issue to "500th Anniversary of birth of Albrecht Dürer"; Depicted is the airmail stamp UAE-RK Michel No. 590A from 1971 showing as stamp motive the painting "Virgin and child with Saint Anne" by Albrecht Dürer.; (St.Anne = Santa Anna = Mother of Mary = figure of the Christian iconography = other name: Anna Selbtritt) ("Selbtritt" = old word for a "three-persons-group", especially used in Germany, the Netherlands, in Italy and in Spain. = Mother-Daughter-Son = Holy Trinity of the Christianity).; Other title of this painting: "Metterza" ("Metterza" = address for "Anna Selbtritt" in the third person).; This painting was created probably in 1519 and is contemporary located at the "Metropolitan Museum of Arts" in New York City (USA).; Unfortunately this stamp was postmarked with an unreadable CTO.
