En G, est donnée une des patiences, et en H, une variante des amortissements qui, du quart de cercle, conduisent aux supports des accoudoirs. Ces amortissements servent de pomme pour appuyer les mains lorsqu'on veut se relever; il en existe aussi bien aux stalles basses qu'aux stalles hautes...
