Description
Deutsch: So zeigte sich die Stadt Linz dem Betrachter ab 1888. In diesem Jahr wurde das ursprünglich rundbogige, hochwassersichere Eisenbahnviadukt nach fünfjähriger Bauzeit fertig gestellt. Zuvor führten die Schienen über einen niedrigen Damm, der regelmäßig überspült wurde, sobald der Rhein über die Ufer trat. Interessant ist auf diesem Bild auch das langgestreckte Gebäude, das am Fähranleger unterhalb von Haus Bucheneck ankert, die Rheinbadeanstalt.
