Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Stephen Kirstall (10).JPG |
Interior of St Stephen's Church, Kirkstall, West Yorkshire, England. It was designed by Stephen Dennis Chantrell and consecrated in 1829. It was renovated by Perkin and Backhouse in 1864, and during this renovation Burstall and Taylor added the carved label stops and corbels inside the building, and a carved Caen stone font. That font was recently removed. Looking west from chancel through choir and nave to gallery. Showing tie-beam trusses in roof of nave. |
