Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Nicholas' Church - geograph.org.uk - 1715989.jpg |
English: St Nicholas' Church The current building dates mainly from around 1460, replacing a previous building on the site. The vestries (to the left of this photo, which views the church from the north east) were added in 1849 and 1896. The steeple was extended to its present height after the original was destroyed in a fire in 1857. The building is grade II* listed - for listing particulars see http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=358409&resourceID=5. |
