Description
English: St Matthew's Church is an Art Nouveau church designed by WD McLennan and built in 1905-07.


This view is from the steps of the pulpit towards the side gallery.


Photographer's notes: I took this photograph with a Sony A33 camera and Tamron 17-50mm lens at 17mm, mounted on a tripod. In order to capture the dynamic range I took six photographs at ISO 100, f/8 from 1/6 to 15s. I used Lightroom to apply lens distortion-correction and a mild degree of noise reduction.Then I aligned and merged them in Photoshop to produce a 32-bit HDR tiff that was re-imported to Lightroom. Finally I adjusted the levels and applied a very small amount of vertical transformation to fix the camera angle.
