English: St Mary's church and Church Farm. Church Farm is located on the other side of Bungay Road. St Mary's church > 1406893 - 1406911 dates from Norman times with the original doorway > 1406902 still in place. The square tower was built in the 14th century and the porch was added 4 centuries later. The church was extensively restored in Victorian times and the only medieval survival is the octagonal C15 font > 1406926. This church is open every day. |
