Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Cuthbert's Church, Wells - geograph.org.uk - 188500.jpg |
English: St Cuthbert's Church, Wells. St Cuthbert's is the largest parish church in Somerset, and belongs to the perpendicular period. Parts of the church date back to the 13th century, but a general rebuilding took place in the 15th century and most of the church dates from then. There are records of two previous churches on the site, the first dating from Saxon times and the second from Norman times. http://www.stcuthbertswells.co.uk/index.php |
