[edit]DescriptionSt Chad's Church - geograph.org.uk - 2005252.jpg |
English: St Chad's Church, near to Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Great Britain.
This large church, whose full title is St Chads with St.Marys, is Shrewsbury's Civic church, where important ceremonies with both a civic and a spiritual nature are held. It was opened in 1792 on the derelict town wall to replace the old St Chads Church which had collapsed in 1788. |
