Description
English: Postcard photo of the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Uniontown, Washington. The building foundation was built in 1893 by German Catholic immigrants. Work on the church was postponed due to economic downturn and the site was left for 11 years until they were able to begin building again. The building was occupied in April of 1906. Postcard was postmarked September 17, 1906. The church was named after the German apostle. It is the first consecrated Catholic Church in the State of Washington.
