Summary

[edit]
Description
English: St Andrew's Church. West Bradenham used to be one of the homes of a prominent Norfolk farming family called Haggard; the author Henry Rider Haggard was born here. The tower of St Andrew's church is placed on the south wall rather than at the west end. St Andrew's is perhaps most noteworthy for the many stained glass windows > 710137 dating from the 19th century and executed by the best workshops of that time: the east window > 710137 - 710144 was made by William Wailes, and the O'Connor Brothers designed the windows set into the west wall > 710153. The church is kept locked but a key is available. For more information see: http://www.norfolkchurches.co.uk/westbradenham/westbradenham.htm
