Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt. Phillip's, Buddle Lane, St. Thomas, Exeter - geograph.org.uk - 1598814.jpg |
English: Inside St Phillip's church, Buddle Lane, St Thomas, Exeter, Devon. St Phillip's was built in the 1920s to serve a newly-built housing estate. It was a "tin tabernacle" with a wooden frame and corrugated steel exterior. In winter it was draughty and cold, but was cosy in its way. It was demolished a few years ago and replaced by houses in a street bearing the church's name. |
