Summary

[edit]
Description

The Park has a number of "Follies" (listed below) in the form of recreated classical monuments or artificial ruins. A structural survey of these follies was carried out in 2009 with a view to conservation/restoration & the creation of a ‘Follies Trail’, complete with interpretive signage. This would be a good idea but something needs to be done soon because the structures in question are being subjected to constant vandalism and there are empty beer cans and discarded clothing strewn nearly everywhere.
