Description
Français : Espaly Saint-Marcel (Haute-Loire), avec le sanctuaire Saint-Joseph de Bon Espoir (1910-18). Vue vers le nord-ouest depuis la route Le Puy-Langeac (D590).

Ce sanctuaire inclut une basilique à l'architecture extérieure de forteresse médiévale (un rappel de la destination originelle des lieux) ; et, à 15 m à l'ouest du pignon nord-ouest de la basilique, la statue Saint-Joseph-de-Bon-Espoir d'Espaly, oeuvre monumentale en béton de 22,4 m. Elle est le pendant de la statue de N-D de France, installée au Puy-en-Velay sur le sommet du rocher Corneille ; la statue de saint Joseph est visible depuis le porche de la cathédrale du Puy-en-Velay.

La Borne coule derrière la basilique. En arrière-plan à gauche, le volcan inactif du mont Denise, surmonté de son antenne.
